Carol Boley, writer and speaker, loves Jesus, loves people, and loves helping connect the two. She has been involved in womenís ministry for more than 35 years and understands the needs, fears and joys of a womanís heart.
Carol, a journalism and home ec graduate of the University of Arizona with a Masterís from Wheaton College (IL), is a former newspaper reporter and feature writer. She has also worked as a hospital community relations specialist, a museum educator at the Arizona Capitol Museum, and a playologist at the Children's Museum of Phoenix.
Her first book, But Iím Not a Wicked Stepmother! with co-author Kathi Lipp, released in March, 2015. In addition, Carol has years of experience writing for such publications as Guideposts, Focus on the Family, Better Family Living, Moody Monthly, Navy Times and Arizona Magazine. She contributed the chapter "When You're Mom No. 2" to Focus on the Familyís Guide to Growing a Healthy Home.
Carol also leads seminars and workshops, with and for other moms, specializing in such family-related topics as "Rearing Your Bright Child," "Rearing Your Young Athlete," "In Step With the Spirit" (Surviving and Thriving in a Stepfamily), and "When Mama Moves In" (The Joys and Challenges of Multi-Generational Living) – all areas of personal experience.
Carol is a former homeschooling mama, including one now a graduate student in physics and another serving as a missionary in Papua New Guinea.

Carol has been married to her husband Jim for more than 31 years, even though Jim is an Arizona State fan. They are the parents of three beautiful grown daughters (Abby, Allison, Andrea).
Carol enjoys reading, traveling, laughing, and talking back to the television set. She sings on Worship Team, teaches Women's Bible Studies, rides with Jim as part of their church's motorcycle "gang" (um, ministry), provides premarital counseling and has experience co-chairing the Couples Ministry at Valley View Bible Church in Paradise Valley, AZ, where she and Jim have attended for more than 35 years.
In addition to writing and speaking, Carol currently cares for her 90-year-old mother with dementia. She cheers for the Arizona Wildcats, eats chocolate, and experiences Godís grace every day.
